ALCORN STATE, MS - The Alcorn State football team participated in its final two-a-day of fall camp on Friday, August 17 at the Davey Whitney HPER Complex Practice Facility.
"It has been going good, the guys are competing and fighting for a position," said senior linebacker Robert Gainwell. "We are getting better everyday. Its great to see the competitiveness on the field during practice, it simply shows that everybody has bought into Coach Hopson's mission.....simply COMPETE."
The two-a-day was the third and final of fall camp for the Braves thus bringing the total to 14 practices so far. The Braves will host a scrimmage game at 7:00 p.m. tonight at Davey Whitney HPER Complex Practice Facility.
