Braves Pay Tribute to Military, Veterans & Civil Service at Football Saturday

LORMAN, Miss. – Alcorn State University will honor active military, veterans and civil service employees at its football game Saturday for their sacrifices to ensure the country's freedom and safety.
 
All military personnel, veterans and civil service employees will be admitted to the game for free with service identification.
 
The game kicks off at 2 p.m. against Alabama A&M at Jack Spinks-Marino Casem Stadium. The Braves and the Bulldogs are the top two teams in the SWAC East Division standings.
 
The RV Lot will open at 8 a.m. Thursday. Tailgate setup will be on Thursday from 12-6 p.m. and all day on Friday. 
 
Please refrain from bringing tents and grills prior to the designated timeframes. Setup will not be allowed without the appropriate tailgate pass(es) in hand. The University will not be responsible for tents/grills in place prior to the scheduled time.
 
Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance. Tickets can be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com or via ticket quick clicks at www.alcorn.edu/tickets. The University's automated ticket information phone line, 601.877.6800, provides general game day information and ticket requests through the ticket office will be processed for "will call" only.
 
Tickets are also available for purchase at the Alcorn State University cashier's window Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. For convenience, Walmart (Electronics Department) in Vicksburg, Ridgeland, and Brookhaven, among other select locations, have tickets for purchase. Additionally, Ticketmaster is available at the customer service centers in all Simon Malls.
 
In preparation for game day, fans are encouraged to visit www.alcornsports.com for the most recent traffic and parking information and maps, including policies on ATVs and road closures.
