Jack Phillips is entering his first year as the Secondary Coach on the Academic Resort. Last season, he served as a Graduate Assistant to the Braves. Phillips is no stranger to the football field at Alcorn State, as he made All-SWAC teams during his matriculation at the Academic Resort in 1985-1989. A native of the Pelican State, Phillips was also a member of the Kansas City Chiefs (1989-90) and has coaching experience in the high school and arena football league. He received a B.S. in Secondary Education from Alcorn State and is pursing his Master’s at Alcorn State University.
