Alcorn's Standouts Signs as Free Agents in the NFL

Tim Buckley, 6-1, 185 pounds, started the last two seasons as quarterback. He completed 315 of 611 career passes for 3,930 yards and 27 touchdowns. Buckley also added 725 career rushing yards. Last season, he set collegiate highs with 1,949 passing yards and 16 touchdowns. Buckley was team captain for the 2009 season which he was voted unanimously by his team mates for that prestigious position.

Roderick Williams is an underrated CB from Alcorn State but he intends to change that.Williams possesses blinding speed with an unofficial 4.36 40-yard dash in his arsenal, as well as the requisite skills to make it to the next level. Roderick spent much of the 2009 spring working out with All-Time great cornerback Darrell Green.
