Collins named SWAC Player of the Week

Alcorn State, MS--The Southwestern Athletic Conference has named senior forward, Shawntawnee Collins, Player of the Week. In Saturday's 61-45 win over Alabama State, she scored 23 points and had 10 boards. In Monday's 67-48 victory over Alabama A&M, Collins posted her third double-double of the season with 26 points and 11 rebounds.

The Denver, Colorado natives is currently the Lady Braves leading scorer and rebounder with 14.1 ppg and 6.5 rpg.
