Cleo Foster is entering her second year as Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Alcorn. Prior to becoming the part of the Alcorn State family, Foster was a graduate assistant at University of Detroit-Mercy. Other coaching stints for Foster include, Fairleigh Dickinson (Asst. Coach 2006-07 and Grad. Asst. 2005-06), and Southwestern Community College (Asst. Coach 2004-05). Foster is a 2004 graduate of the University of Massachusetts where she majored in psychology. During her matriculation at UMass, she lettered in basketball all four years and served as the team captain her senior season. She received the Jack Leaman Award (Team MVP) her senior year and also led the team in assists that year. She is a native of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
