Lady Braves Defeat Lady Panthers in Make-Up Game

The 9-0 win for the Lady Braves was a great game for sophomore pitcher Amy Blakeney who not only added another win to her record, but also went 3 for 3 at the plate with 3 RBI.  Junior Jasmine Hubbard had another strong plate appearance for the Lady Braves going 2 for 3 with 3 RBI and 2 stolen bases, seniors Christine Garcia and Adriana Harrington had 1 RBI each, sophomore Bianca Armstrong had 2 stolen bases, and freshman Keia Hebert had 1 RBI to help the team offensively.  

            The next contest for the Lady Braves will be the last conference games before the SWAC tournament being held in Irondale, AL at the end of this month. The Lady Braves will face the Alabama State University Lady Hornets at home on April 23-24, 2010.
