SWAC Announces 2010 Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships

Links on the Bayou Golf Club will host the women’s tournament on Monday, April 19th and Tuesday April 20^th, with a 10 a.m. tee time each day. The competition will feature action from the seven member institutions that sponsor women’s golf teams, including Alabama State, Alcorn State, Grambling State, Jackson State, Mississippi Valley State, Prairie View A&M, and Texas Southern. The Lady Tigers of Jackson State are the defending 2009 SWAC champions.

The men’s tournament will be held at Oak Wing Golf Club Monday, April 19^th – Wednesday, April 21^st and will tee off at 8 a.m. each morning. All ten SWAC teams will be competing as the Jackson State Tigers will seek to claim its third consecutive title and 22^nd in school history.
