Alcorn State, MS--As Braves fans gear up for the 2011 football season and first year coach Melvin Spears WPRL-FM presents the "Melvin Spears Radio Show." The season premiere is Monday August 29th at 6 P.M. The show will feature highlights from every Alcorn Football game.

There will be features, interviews and a segment called “The Ultimate Braves Experience" in which former coach, player or University official talks about ASU. The show will feature call in's as well as a preview of the upcoming opponent. In the season debut there will be a preview of all phases of the football team (Offense, Defense, and Special Teams).

The first installment of the "Ultimate Braves Experience" will feature former ASU football and Hall of Fame coach Marino Casem and a preview of the Grambling game. You can hear the show on 91.7-WPRL-FM-Alcorn Public Radio and 97.7 WTYJ/1240 WMIS Natchez. The show can be heard online at WPRL.ORG every Monday night from 6 P.M.-7 P.M. during the 2011 football season beginning August 29th.
