Several Braves Coaches Headed to Professional Development

Braves always looking for improvement

Alcorn State, MS—Before training camp begins next week a few members of the Braves coaching staff will head off to several NFL Teams to broaden their horizons.

Defensive line coach, Todd McDaniel will be interning with the Minnesota Vikings.   McDaniel will learn from Vikings Head Coach and Alcorn Alum, Leslie Frazier.
Linebackers coach, Louis Green is slated to receive professional development with the Washington Redskins.   He will re-unite with his former head coach, Mike Shanahan while performing his duties. During his time as a member of the Denver Broncos organization, Green was coached by Shanahan from 2004-2008.

Defensive backs coach, Eugene Daniel is projected to attend professional development with the Cincinnati Bengals' Head Coach Marvin Lewis. While a member of the Baltimore Ravens squad, Daniel was coached by Marvin Lewis who was the defensive coordinator at that time.

The Department of Athletics would like to congratulate Dr. M. Christopher Brown, II on being recently named to the advisory council for the American Commonwealth Project (ACP).
