Memphis, TN--Alcorn State lost 10-0 to
University of Memphis at Memphi, TN on Tuesday as
Ellen Roberts allowed three hits over five innings.
Chelsie Dahlbeck had a sound game at the plate for the Lady Braves. Dahlbeck went 1-2. She singled in the fifth inning.
Tabitha Bonnell hung tough in the circle for Alcorn State. She allowed six earned runs over four innings. Bonnell gave up 11 hits while walking one and striking out one.
University of Memphis was sparked by Jami Miller and Roberts, who teamed up for three hits and five RBIs.
University of Memphis tacked on another nine runs in the fourth. Ijiah Hargrove singled, bringing home Miller to start the inning. That was followed up by Laura Curtis's double, scoring Hargrove and Alyssa Palmieri.
