Haiden McCraney were named Players of the Week by the Southwestern Athletic Conference. Watkins is the Braves first defensive player this season to receive the honor and it's the second consecutive week that McCraney has received Specialist of the Week.

Watkins filled up the stat sheet recording six tackles, two tackles for a loss, and a sack. He also forced a fumble and recovered a key fumble in the final minutes in the Braves 20-13 win over Texas Southern.

McCraney scored a total of eight points by nailing a 40 and 27 yard field goal and went 2-for-2 in PATs in the Braves 20-13 victory over Texas Southern. McCraney also punted the ball six times for 241 yards for an average of 40.2 with his longest being 56 and placed three of those punts inside the 20. He also carried the ball one time on a fake punt for 14 yards for a key first down.
