Lorman, Miss-Yesterday morning, the Alcorn State football team hosted its 2013 Prod Day. Several scouts were on hand to check out some of the Braves seniors as they participated in some of the NFL combine drills.
Nearly 14 seniors worked out and showcased their talents in the 40-yard dash, strength test, and other agility drills in front of four NFL teams. Players such as,
Terrance Lewis,
Jacques Caldwell,
Robert Gainwell, and
Marti Shelby finished the day with some impressive results in front of the scouts.

Jay Hopson had this to say about yesterday's pro day, "I'm really excited that our seniors got the opportunity to participate in today's pro day." It's a huge step in Alcorn State football and we couldn't be more proud of the way our guys performed out here this morning.
