LORMAN - Yesterday afternoon the Alcorn State Men's Tennis team was selected to face No. 8th ranked Texas A&M in the first round of the 2014 NCAA Tournament. The Braves and Aggies are set to square off on May 10 at 12:00 p.m. in College Station, Texas.
First round matches will begin at 9:00 a.m. with California facing Texas Tech followed by the Braves and Aggies at 12:00 p.m. The winners of each match will play on Sunday to determine who advances to NCAA Championships in Athens, Ga. on May 16-20.
The Braves recently won the 2014 SWAC Tennis Championships and are going into the tournament undefeated in their last three matches.
