BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Southwestern Athletic Conference has selected Alcorn State's
Tatiana David and Trevee Kelley as the SWAC Track & Field Athletes of the Week for April 8. The Braves duo swept the weekly honors.

Class: Junior
Hometown: Homestead, Fla.
David tied for first in the high jump with a career-best 5'4. She also ran a personal best time of 14.30 in the 100m hurdles for a second place finish. The Homestead, Fla. native leaped for a career best 17'11 in the long jump.
Trevee KellyPosition: Sprints
Class: Junior
Hometown: Slidell, La.
On the men's side, Kelly recorded one of the best times in the league so far this season. In the 400m dash, he clocked in with a time of 48.80. The junior out of Slidell, La. also earned two fifth place finishes with a season best 1:57 in the 800 and a 4:17 in the 1500.
