Wild Card Wednesday: Bryant Mix

Wednesday's Wild Card pick is defensive end, Bryant Mix.  Mix played two years for the Braves in 1994 and 1995.  Despite only playing two years for the Braves, e became an exciting player to watch on the Braves defense.

In his first season as a Brave, Mix earned 1st Team All-SWAC honors after totaling 95 tackles and a record-breaking 13 sacks.  He also forced two fumbles, recovered one fumble, and recorded 15 tackles for a loss.  The Braves captured a share of the 1994 SWAC Championship posting a 8-3-1 record and made an appearance in the NCAA FCS Playoffs.

His final season as a Brave was in 1995.  Mix recorded 54 tackles and eight tackles for a loss.  He led the Braves for the second consecutive season with nine sacks and was named to the All-SWAC 1st Team Defense.

In two seasons, Mix recorded 149 tackles and 22 sacks.  He was a two-time All-SWAC 1st team select and has one SWAC Championship under his belt.
