Atlanta -  Alcorn State University opens its 94^th season on the road facing #16 Georgia Tech, on Thursday, September 3^rd under the lights at Bobby Dodd Stadium. This is the first meeting between the two institutions. The Braves are the preseason pick to win the SWAC Eastern Division, coming off a 10-3 season in which they won the Eastern Divison and defeated Southern University to win the SWAC championship, for the first time since 1993.

The game will be broadcasted live on Fox Sports South and ESPN3. The game can also be heard on 91.7 WPRL-FM or online at www.wprl.org.
