PRATTVILLE, Ala. - The trio of juniors Daniel Racioppa and Daniel Stamper and freshman Spencer Rhodes were selected to the All-Tournament team after top-five finishes at the Alabama State University Spring Golf Kickoff Tuesday on the Robert T. Jones Golf Trail at Capitol Hill.
Stamper was the team's top finisher in third after a final-round even 72. Stamper shot 3-over in the first round and 6-over in the second to conclude the tournament with a 9-over 225.
Rhodes carded a season-low 2-under 70 in the final round and finished in a tie for fourth with Racioppa. The duo each finished with a total score of 230.
Juniors Luther Thompson and Jon Allen rounded out the team with ninth- and 13th-place finishes, respectively.
The team's final-round 295 was the best score in the field, topping the Hornets 303.
Unfortunately, the squad still placed second by just five strokes. Rhodes (70), Stamper (72), Thompson (76) and Racioppa (77) all carded 70s in the third round.
ASU's Quincy Stith was named the individual champion, totaling a 1-over 217. He gave himself a lot of breathing room after a second-round 68, the lowest 18-hole score of the event.

The women placed third but were only able to contribute three scorers because of an injury to Sam Schroer. Junior Quinn Meyer was the top scorer with a 259 followed by freshman Erin Kopinak and junior Abrea Grant, respectively, at 277 and 278.
