BATON ROUGE, La. – It was a flawless start to the SWAC season Friday for the Alcorn State University men's and women's tennis programs as they breezed to a pair of 6-0 wins over Mississippi Valley State at Round-Up, played on the campus of Southern University.

Neither the Braves nor the Lady Braves dropped a single game on any court.

The Lady Braves will continue the round-up Saturday at 9 a.m. against Southern. The Braves will be back in action Sunday when they take on Alabama A&M at 1 p.m.
