LORMAN, Miss. – On the eve of the 2019 SWAC Championships, sophomore
Stojan Stojanovski and junior
Anastasia Vaganova from the Alcorn State University tennis programs were named to the 2019 All-Conference Teams, announced Thursday at the SWAC tennis banquet.

Stojanovski ended the season on a four-match winning-streak. He posted a 3-2 record in conference at the No. 1 and 2 singles positions. In doubles, he was 3-2 overall and 2-0 in conference with fellow Macedonian
Gjorgji Popovski.

Stojanovski and the fifth-seeded Braves will take the court at 1 p.m. Friday when they look to knock off third-seeded Jackson State in the quarterfinals.

Vaganova becomes a two-time All-Conference honoree. She was a perfect 6-0 in SWAC singles this year and 10-8 overall. Vaganova was 8-5 at No. 2 singles and 2-0 at No. 3. She also played three matches at No. 1.

Vaganova and the fifth-seeded Lady Braves will be in action at 9 a.m. Friday when they square off with third-seeded Alabama A&M
