LORMAN, Miss. – The Alcorn State University football program has been working out in preparation for the 2021 spring campaign.
Â
The Braves have primarily been focusing on conditioning so far to get in shape for the upcoming season.
Â
"We've got to get these young men in football shape, and the best way to get started is to get these guys out and doing some running and conditioning," said Alcorn head coach
Fred McNair. "We've got to work these young men, but make sure we're taking care of them as well. There's a lot going on right now with COVID-19 and the protocols we have to follow, and we have to take care of them as coaches."
Â
The Braves are scheduled to open the spring season at Alabama A&M on Feb. 27. The first home game is slated for March 6 against Alabama State at Jack Spinks-Marino Casem Stadium.
