Robinson Punches Ticket to NCAA Indoor Championships

LORMAN, Miss. - Bralon Robinson qualifies for the NCAA Indoor Championships in the 60m Dash. Robinson becomes the first Brave to qualify for the Indoor Championships. Second-year Head Coach Jimmy Joseph is pleased with the achievement of his senior sprinter.

"First off it's not about me," said Coach Joseph. "I'm extremely happy for Bralon and what he's doing for this program with his hard work and humility throughout the process. We had some setbacks but he didn't quit. I expect success to follow him throughout the season and I'm happy he trusted us with his talents."

Robinson dashed the competition at the SWAC Indoor Championships in a new meet record time of 6.65 to earn a trip to Fayetteville, Arkansas. The three-time SWAC Champion (60m x 2, 100m) is no stranger to big stages having qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary Round in 2018, and Robinson is focused on his biggest challenge yet.

"All praises be to God. I'm blessed, honored, and humbled to have made it this far but there is still work left to be done," said Robinson.

The competition runs in Fayetteville, Arkansas from March 11-13, and fans will be able to tune in on the ESPN family of networks.
