Lady Braves Suffer Loss to Alabama State

MONTGOMERY, Alabama. – The Alcorn State University Lady Braves (2-10, 1-2 SWAC) suffered one of its toughest losses this season at the hands of the Alabama State University Hornets (4-9, 3-1 SWAC) 74-39.
 
Slow offensive starts in the second and third quarters led to the Lady Braves' struggles. The team scored eight points in the second quarter and five in the third. Diamond Hall put up 10 points and six steals for the Lady Braves in a losing effort.
 
The Lady Braves will be back in action Saturday, Jan.15, when they face Texas Southern at 1 p.m. in the Davey L. Whitney Complex.
