HOUSTON, Texas – Alcorn State University women's tennis met the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in a Saturday morning match at the Houston Jewish Community Center and were defeated 0-6.
In singles, at No. 1,
Doaa Mohamed was defeated by Ana Veroux, 1-6 and 0-6. Oihane Villanueva fell at No. 2 to Valeria Cherfus, 2-6 and 0-6.
Zoe Crimmel played at No. 3 and was defeated by Kateryna Rublevska, 2-6 and 2-6. At No. 4,
Nicole Kells was defeated by Palina Saulveich, 0-6 and 0-6.
Natalija Nikolic played at No. 5 and fell to Zoe Moley, 4-6 and 0-6.
Crimmel and Mohamed played at No. 1 in double and were defeated by Veroux and Saulevich, 2-6. At No. 2, Villanueva and Nikolic fell to Cherfus and Rublevska, 1-6.
