PINE BLUFF, Ark. – Alcorn State University softball traveled to play the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Saturday afternoon. The Lady Braves fought hard but were defeated by the Golden Lions, 2-6.
    Alcorn scored two runs on three hits while committing three errors.
Hannah Miller finished the day with an RBI.

Olivia Miller both went 1-of-3 at the plate and scored a run.
    UAPB's Samaria Jackson ended the game with two runs batted in. Lauryn Adams went 1-of-2 at the plate, scored a run, and had an RBI. Amari Broughton and Jada Carhee both went 1-of-4 and had an RBI.
    Kayla Adams picked up the win for Arkansas-Pine Bluff with a complete game pitched for three hits, two earned runs, 14 strikeouts, and faced 25 batters.

Kiri Parker suffered the loss for the Lady Braves with six innings pitched for five hits, six runs (two earned), four walks, four strikeouts, three wild pitches and facing 30 batters.
