Lorman, Miss. - Alcorn State University has announced enhanced security measures and updated game day protocols for all remaining football games at Jack Spinks–Marino Casem Stadium following a recent incident on campus.

The university is adding security personnel and implementing modified procedures to ensure the safety of the campus community and visitors during game day activities.

The safety and well-being of our campus community remain our highest priority. These enhanced measures reflect our commitment to providing a secure environment for everyone attending Alcorn State athletic events.

RV protocols will remain the same. Tailgating setup begins Friday, Oct. 24 between 12 noon and 6 p.m. in designated areas.  It will resume on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 6 a.m. The university is not responsible for items left overnight, and yellow caution tape or barricades are not permitted.

Saturday Game Day Procedures
Campus parking lots open at 6 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 with visitors being required to present parking passes or use cashless payment methods. Cash is no longer accepted at parking entry points.

There will be three entry points for the game. The main entry gate to the campus will allow entry only for General Tailgate, Reserved Tailgate, VIP Parking, Premium Parking, RVs, and ADA Parking. General Parking vehicles are not permitted to access tailgate areas around the stadium. The airstrip will be closed for this game.

Stadium gates open two hours before kickoff. All guests must follow the Clear Bag Policy, which permits only clear plastic bags up to 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches. Non-clear bags should remain in vehicles.

Post-Game Exit Protocols
General parking and general tailgate visitors must begin exiting campus one hour after the game concludes. Reserved tailgate visitors must exit within two hours post game. All equipment and vehicles must be removed upon departure. RV lots close at noon Sunday.

Tailgate passes are required for entry into tailgating areas. Music must maintain a family atmosphere, and vulgar lyrics are prohibited. Guests must dispose of trash and ash properly and avoid dumping in drains or landscaping. ATVs and oversized side-by-sides are not permitted.
