Lorman, Miss. – Alcorn State University will begin a soft rollout of a cashless system for all home football gamedays starting with its first home game on Saturday, October 4, 2025. This initiative is part of Alcorn's continued efforts to enhance the gameday experience through improved efficiency, increased safety, and a more modernized payment process.
During this transition, cashless transactions will be strongly encouraged at all points of purchase, including ticket booths and parking areas. Fans will be able to tap or swipe credit/debit cards to purchase tickets and parking passes—helping to speed up lines and reduce wait times while also minimizing the need to carry physical cash.
This soft rollout will allow us to transition responsibly while educating and preparing our fans for a fully cashless experience. The university is prioritizing safety, accountability, and efficiency, and we appreciate our fans' cooperation as we make this important shift.

- At ticket booths, fans should be prepared to pay with card for quicker entry.

Parking Instructions:
- VIP Parking, RV Parking, Reserved Parking, and Reserved/General Tailgate Parking: Enter through the south (front gate) entrance of campus.
- General Parking: Use the Special Event Lot or enter through the north (back gate) entrance.
The University encourages fans to arrive early, come prepared with card payment options, and be patient as this soft rollout progresses. Full cashless implementation is anticipated later in the season.
