Lorman, Miss. - Alcorn State Athletics continues Southwestern Athletic Conference play across multiple sports this week, with home action on the Reservation and key road contests across the Southeast.
The week opens on Monday, January 19, as the men's basketball team returns home to the Davey L. Whitney Complex to host Prairie View A&M. Tipoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. in Lorman, as the Braves look to build momentum in conference play in front of the home crowd.
On Thursday, January 22, the women's basketball team heads east for a road matchup at Bethune-Cookman. The Lady Braves are set to tip off at 5:00 p.m. CST in Daytona, Florida, continuing a challenging conference road stretch.
The basketball slate continues Saturday, January 24, with a doubleheader in Tallahassee against Florida A&M. The women's game is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. CST, followed by the men's contest at 4:00 p.m. CST, as both programs look to secure important SWAC victories on the road.
The week concludes on Sunday, January 25, with women's tennis opening play in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The Lady Braves will face McNeese State, with match time to be announced.
