SWAC TV Football Schedule Released for 2026 Season

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) released the official SWAC TV broadcast schedule for the 2026 football season on Wednesday, June 3, with a total of 50 games set to be streamed amongst the 12 member institutions. For Alcorn, the Braves will be featured six times on the SWAC TV platform.
 
Under the direction of Head Coach Cedric Thomas, set to begin his third year at the helm in Lorman, Mississippi, Alcorn opens the 2026 campaign Saturday, August 29, for a "Week 0" matchup streaming on SWAC TV at home to Miles out of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association (SIAC) at 6 p.m. CDT.
 
The end of September carries over into October with three consecutive SWAC TV contests for the Purple and Gold against Texas Southern (September 26), away to Grambling State (October 3) for a Tigers Homecoming weekend in Louisiana, and followed by the Braves Homecoming contest against Arkansas Baptist (October 10).
 
A Halloween contest away to Mississippi Valley State will stream on SWAC TV, as well as the following weekend in Lorman as the Braves take on Florida A&M (November 7).
