Played most matches at No. 1 singles and posted a 4-3 record in conference… partnered with Anastasia Vaganova for the third consecutive year and won three matches including a 6-3 result in the semifinals vs. PVAMU

2017-18 (Junior)
Won the team's Most Valuable award at the 2018 Alcorn awards banquet... played every match at No. 1 singles with seven wins on the year including a 4-2 record in conference... picked up a key win in the semifinals of the SWAC Championships to help the Lady Braves advance to the finals... partnered with Anastasia Vaganova to win four matches at No. 1 doubles

2016-17 (Sophomore)
Primarily played No. 2 singles but also won four matches at the No. 1 spot... posted a 5-2 singles record in conference... teamed with Anastasia Vaganova in doubles to go 9-7 overall and 5-3 in conference at the No. 2 position

Named to the Dean’s List second semester at Texas State University… played in a pair of fall tournaments at Air Force and Rice… teamed with Joy Chia Ming Ming and won a match against a team from Wyoming

Born May 23, 1996 in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa… daughter of Louis and Amanda Birkenstock… her mother ran four years at South African University… her sister, Lizel, was a provincial netball and tennis player in high school… majoring in chemistry… enjoys going to the gym and running
