2020 (Freshman): Team did not compete due to COVID-19 pandemic...

High School: Nicknamed “Truck”, Tavarious Griffin (TE) played all over the field for Tallassee HS. He was used as a quarterbcack, running back, tight end and middle linebacker. At running back, he rushed 85 times for 565 yards and 8 touchdowns. At tight end, Griffin caught 425 yards and three touchdowns in 10 games his final year. On defense, he registered 85 tackles and 6.0 tackles for a loss and was a two-time Player of the Week winner. He earned All-State Honorable Mention, All-Area, All-Metra, WSFA Fever Star Athlete and Montgomery QB Club Player of the Week. Personal: Tavarious was born in Tallassee, Ala. and is the son of Sitora Levett. He is currently pursuing a degree in Sports Management. Griffin’s favorite sports memory is very touchdown that he is able to score. His achievements include Preseason All-American (2022), All-American Preseason First Team All SWAC (2023), and First Team All-SWAC (2023).
