2019-20 Alcorn Freshman of the Year

2021 (Sophomore):
Won four singles and seven doubles matches…Was 7-4 overall during doubles competition…Went 2-2 in SWAC singles play and 4-1 in SWAC doubles play…Three of his four singles wins saw him claim a doubles victory in the same match as well…Claimed two wins apiece on the #4 and #5 line during singles competition…All seven of his doubles wins came out of the second slot with Stojan Stojanovski as his partner.

2020 (Freshman)
Won the Alcorn Men's Freshman of the Year award on campus... posted a 6-6 singles record, including 2-0 in conference... mostly played at No. 3 singles... turned in victories over Eastern Illinois, Florida A&M, Mississippi Valley State, Alabama A&M, UT Rio Grande Valley and Mississippi College... all of his wins were in straight sets... won three doubles matches at the No. 2 spot, two with Santiago Rocca and one with Stojan Stojanovski... tallied a 4.0 GPA in the spring of 2020.

Full name is Lucas Ribeiro Dini... born July 7, 2000... son of Candido Elisio Dini and Denise Ribeiro Dini... the second born of four siblings... enjoys playing the guitar...  favorite athlete is Roger Federer... majoring in electro-mechanical engineering.
