Brianna Billie

Brianna Billie enters her second season at the helm of the Alcorn State University Lady Braves softball program, bringing energy and a winning pedigree to the Reservation. Named head coach prior to the 2025 campaign, Billie arrived at Alcorn after a successful two-year stint as head coach at Benedict College, where she guided the Tigers in the highly competitive Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC). In addition to her coaching duties at Benedict, she served as Assistant Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator, demonstrating strong leadership both on and off the field.

Before taking over her own program, Billie sharpened her coaching skills as an assistant at Northwest Missouri State University from 2019–2021.

An accomplished player in her own right, Billie was a standout outfielder and lefty slapper at Benedict College. She posted a .404 batting average in 2017 and improved to .429 in 2018, earning First Team All-SIAC honors and team MVP recognition. That same year she led all of NCAA Division II in stolen bases, averaging 1.49 per game with 52 swipes in just 35 contests. Following her playing career, she spent one season as a student assistant for the Tigers, laying the foundation for her coaching career.

A native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and raised in Monroe, Georgia, Billie graduated from Monroe Area High School in 2014. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Benedict College in 2019 and later completed a Master of Applied Health and Sport Science at Northwest Missouri State.

The eldest of ten children of Erricka Young-McKenzie and Dameon Billie, Coach Billie is a proud member of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association and continues to inspire her student-athletes with the same dedication and drive that defined her own playing days.
