2019 – SWAC Track Athlete of the Week (4/24)

2019 (Freshman – Outdoor Track & Field):
Ran a 15.43 in the 100m hurdles and a 1:08.35 in the 400m hurdles during the Bulldog Relays (3/23)…Earned top-8 finishes with a 15.38 in the 100m hurdles and a 5.18m long jump while setting a personal record time of 4:16.97 in the 4x400 relays at the Jim Mize Invite (4/6)…Placed in the top-3 for the 100m hurdles at 15.09 and the long jump with a personal-best 5.20m during the UCA Open (4/13)…Logged a top-10 placement with a 1:04.12 in the 400m hurdles and ran a 14.81 in the 100m hurdles during the LSU Alumni Gold Meet (4/20)…Won 5th in the 100m hurdles at a personal-best 14.30 time and came in 7th during the 400m hurdles with a personal-low time of 1:02.38 at the SWAC Championships (5/5).
 
2019 (Freshman – Indoor Track & Field):
Ran a 9.29 in the 60m hurdles at the Samford Open (1/19)…Placed top-10 with a 9.20 in the 60m hurdles during the Emory Invite (1/20)…Earned 7th in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.14 at the KMS Invite (1/27)…Had a 9.28 time in the 60m hurdles during the Jaguar Invite (2/3)…Won 7th with a personal-best of 8.97 in the 60m hurdles at the SWAC Championships (2/15).

Full name is Mya Nicole Greene...Born July 7, 2000…Daughter of Tabari Greene and Myesha Dowe...Has two sisters, Jaci (21) and Akaylah plus two brothers, Jaylen (23) and Jaysen (18)…Majoring in biology - pre-medicine.
