Kim Day serves as the Athletic Business Manager for Alcorn State University, bringing a strong background in education, university operations, financial management, and athletic logistics. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and plays a key role in the financial and operational planning for the Department of Athletics.

Before returning to athletics, Kim worked on the university side, where she gained valuable experience in budgeting, purchasing, compliance, and institutional planning. That broader administrative perspective enhances her ability to align athletic operations with university goals.

She previously spent several years managing game day operations, gaining firsthand experience in coordinating events and supporting the behind-the-scenes logistics that contribute to successful athletic contests. Today, she oversees daily business functions while ensuring large-scale events are executed with efficiency and care.

Day a native of Fayette, Miss., is recognized for her organization, dependability, and dedication to teamwork, helping ensure that every aspect of Alcorn athletics runs smoothly from start to finish.
