Lady Braves Bounce Grambling State

Crumbly scorched the nets for 28 total points, 15 in the first half and 13

in the last, leading the Lady Brave charge. She got plenty of help from

partner Ruffin who tallied eight in the last half as did forward Sharnika

Breedlove. Ruffin ended up with 17 on the night and Breedlove 10.

ASU trailed 36-29 at halftime but outscored the Lady Tigers 42-28

the last 20 minutes of play.  One key to ASU's comeback were the many

steals. ASU had 13 for the game to GSU's three and forced the Lady

Tigers into making 25 turnovers.

ASU upped its record to 3-10 overall and 2-2 in the SWAC. GSU

fell to 6-9 overall and are also 2-2 in the SWAC.

The Lady Braves will host Ms. Valley State Saturday starting at 2:30

and Arkansas Pine Bluff Monday at 5:30.
