LADY BRAVES OUTPACE THE LADY TIGERS OF GRAMBLING

The Alcorn State Lady Braves placed four players in double figures as they led for the entire last half in taking both games from Grambling State this season, this time 64-57 on Monday night at Alcorn.
 
Shooting guard Carolinsia Crumbly led all scorers with 21 points, with three other Lady Braves scoring in double digits. Kiara Ruffin netted 13, Renelle Richmond 12 and Sharnika Breedlove 10. The Lady Braves outrebounding GSU 35-32, upped its SWAC record to 7-4 and are 8-12 overall. For the Lady Tigers, Secrett Anderson led her team with 20 points while Jasher Blocker tallied 10. GSU is now 6-5 in the SWAC and 10-12 overall.
 
The Lady Braves will face Ms. Valley State on the road Saturday in a 2PM game in Itta Bena, Ms.
