Huntsville, AL—After five scoreless innings, Alcorn State opened up the top of the six inning scoring two runs from Rodney Warren and
Justin Barney.
In the seventh inning, the Braves continued to dominate the game as Barney's double to right field scored Antolin Morales.

Neither team scored in the eighth, but Alcorn State rattled off two runs in the ninth inning to defeat the Bulldogs, 8-2.
