Late Push by Mississippi Valley Cost Lady Braves

Box Score Lorman, MS-Four players scored in double-figures for the Lady Braves tonight but it wasn't enough to hold off the visiting Lady Devilettes from Mississippi Valley.  A late second half surge by the Delta Devilettes gave the Lady Braves their fourth conference lost of the season, 65-61 at the Davey L. Whitney Complex.

Both teams went back and forth in the early goings of the first half but the Lady Braves opened the lead up to six when freshman Alexis Martin hit a jumper off of an out of bounds play to give the Lady Braves a 19-13 at the 8:18 mark.

Mississippi Valley's Alia Frank close the gap to one 22-21, converting on a layup.  Lady Braves junior guard Tierra Frost came right back with a three pointer to extend the lead back to four.  The Lady Devilettes didn't let the Lady Braves increase their lead before the break, staying close trailing 31-27.
