Box Score Dayton, Ohio – The Braves gave up 30 points in the paint and turned the ball over 17 times in tonight's loss to Wright State, 73-55 at the Nutter Center.

Twann Oakley came out firing away for the Braves knocking down a 3-pointer and an off-balance jumper to give the Braves an early 5-0 lead.
Wright State quickly took over the lead going on a 12-0 run led by Miles Dixon who hit a few baskets in the paint and wingman JT Yoho, who made a layup and nailed a 3-pointer. The Raiders were ahead 12-5 for the moment.
The Braves were down as many as 11 points later on but started cutting into Wright State's lead when sophomore forward
LeAntwan Luckett completed a 4-point play and made a running layup for six straight points. The Braves were now down 26-19.
A few more baskets by both teams and the highlight of the night came just before the half when senior guard
Anthony Evans hit a 3-pointer from the other end of floor to close out the half and the Braves were down 30-24 at end of the first half.
The Braves came out of the locker room cold and Wright State jumped out to an 11-0 run increasing their lead to 41-24 during the first 6:30 minutes of the second half. Evans answered with a layup to stop the run for the Braves but for the rest of the game it was all about the Raiders.
Wright State would increase their lead to as many as 22 points. The Braves did manage to get within 15 points with 4:24 left in the game but that was as close as they would get.
Octavius Brown led the Braves with 11 points and snatched down seven rebounds.
LeAntwan Luckett and
Shaunessy Smith each had nine points for the Braves.
Wright State was led by Cole Darling with 18 points. Jerran Young and Miles Dixon chipped in 13 and 11 points, respectively.
The Braves are back in action Monday as they travel to Alabama to face Troy. Tip-off is at 7pm.
