Box Score Lorman, Miss.-The Lady Braves gave up a five-point halftime lead and went on a cold streak late in the second half to pick up their seventh straight loss. Grambling defeated the Lady Braves 57-46 at the Whitney Complex tonight.
Grambling jumped out to a 3-0 lead on a layup by Jessica Watkins at the 17:40 mark.
Au-Juvan Andrews made a layup to put the Lady Braves on the board to make the score 3-2 which began a 9-0 run.
Andrews extended the Lady Braves lead to seven, 13-6 on a pair of made free throws to for the Lady Braves. Grambling's Cierra Ceazer knocked down a three-pointer to retake the lead for the Lady Tigers 15-13 with 7:22 to go in the first half.
The Lady Braves closed out the first half on a 7-0 run and took a 24-19 lead to the locker room.

Ather Cep increase the Lady Braves lead to 26-19 after halftime knocking down a jumper from the elbow.
Grambling tied the game at 34 on a jumper by Ceazer with 10:13 left in the game. The Lady Braves maintained their lead until the 07:38 when Grambling's Joanna Miller hit a layup to give the Lady Tigers their first lead since 2:49 mark in the first half.
The Lady Braves went on a scoring drought for almost six minutes until Cep broke the ice with a three-pointer to cut the Tigers lead to nine 48-39 with 3:50 left to play. Tierra Frost hit another three-pointer to cut the lead to six points, 48-42 but the Lady Tigers put the Lady Braves away by knocking down their free throws.
The Lady Braves were outscored 38-22 in the second half and shot 14.3 percent from downtown.
Andrews recorded her second straight double-double scoring 12 points and racking up 10 rebounds to go along with 4 blocks. Tierra Frost also scored 12 points for the Lady Braves.
Ceazer led the Lady Tigers with a game-high 21 points and 11 rebounds. Joanna Miller added 17 points.
Up next for the Lady Braves is a trip to the Mississippi Delta to face the Lady Devilettes of Mississippi Valley. Tip-off is at 2:30 p.m.
