Au-Juvan Andrews with just under two minutes into the game. But Valley's Alia Frank scored six straight baskets to give the tie the game at 6-6 with 17:21 to play in the first half.

Carolinsia Crumbly hit a jumper to give the Lady Braves a 10-9 lead. Valley's Joncyee Sanders came right back with a jumper of her own to retake the lead 11-10 with 13:35 to play in the first half.
Both teams continued to trade baskets throughout the first half until
Renelle Richmond nailed three-pointer to give the Lady Braves a six-point lead with 3:44 to go in the first half.
The Lady Braves went cold for the last three and half of the first half but took a 30-28 lead into the locker room.
Mississippi Valley started a 14-3 run in the second half to push the lead to 42-33 with 10:55 to play. Tierra Frost stopped the run on a layup to cut the lead to 42-35 but from there it was all about the Lady Devilettes.
The Lady Devilettes extended their lead to ten on a three-pointer by Lenise Stallings to make the score 47-37.
The Lady Braves weren't able to cut into the Lady Devilettes lead which stayed above eight points.
Alcorn were outrebounded on the glass 41-31.
Crumbly led the Lady Braves with 12 points.
Renelle Richmond added 11 points.
The Lady Devilettes had three players in double-figures with Alia Frank leading the way with 16 points. A'Shanti Weathers and Joncyee Sanders chipped in 15 and 10 points, respectively.
Lady Braves fall to 1-20 on the season and 1-11 in conference play. The Lady Braves travel to Arkansas Pine-Bluff on Monday. Tip-off is at 5:00 p.m.
