Box Score Baton Rouge, La.-After a 3-0 start up until the second inning, the Braves weren't able to pick up any runs for the remainder of the game and LSU rallied to defeat the Braves Tuesday night at Alex Box Stadium on LSU's campus.

In the top of the second inning,
Ashton Lewis stepped to the plate and knocked in a two-run homerun scoring
Ryant Piper to extend the Braves lead to 3-0. The Tigers got on the scoreboard in the bottom of the second on an RBI single and the momentum shifted from there.
The Tigers would score one run in the third, two in the fifth, and three in the seventh to hold the Braves scoreless for the rest of the game to get the win.
The Braves (6-24, 6-5) return to action this weekend as they travel to Montgomery, Ala. for a key SWAC matchup against Alabama State. The Braves and Hornets will play two on Friday at 12 and 3 p.m. and wrap up the series Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
