Box Score Fort Worth, Texas-After an amazing comeback in yesterday's first round game to Arkansas Pine-Bluff, the Alcorn State baseball hoped their momentum would carry them in to a key match-up tonight against arch rival Jackson State. The Braves got behind again early 4-1, but this time couldn't play catch up. The Braves drop to the loser's bracket falling to Jackson State, 11-2.
Jackson State got on the board first in the first inning when Bryce Taylor hit a 2-run homerun to give the Tigers a 2-0 advantage.
The Braves came right back in the bottom of the first inning and scored on a RBI double to left field by

Justin Barney. The score was now to 2-1 in favor of Jackson State.
It was all about the Tigers the rest of the way. The Tigers scored two runs in the second and fourth innings and one in the eighth inning. In the ninth inning, the Tigers managed to score four runs on a couple of walks by the Braves pitching staff.

Angel Rosa which was the last run for the evening for the Braves.
The Braves put the ball in play four times and recorded three errors.
Cedric Walker led the Braves with two hits.
The Braves play tomorrow at 9 a.m. as they take on Texas Southern in win or go home situation. The last time the Braves and Tigers faced each other, the Braves won 13-0 en route to their first SWAC Baseball Championship in school history.
