LeAntwan Luckett led the Braves with 12 points but it wasn't enough upset the Iowa Hawkeyes as the Bravves dropped their second straight 67-44.
Iowa went 5-for-6 from the charity stripe in the first 1:50 of the game to take an early 5-0 lead.Â
Tamarcio Wilson put the Braves on the board with a mid-range jumper to cut the lead to 5-2.
The Braves were in the game most of the first half only trailing by five with 6:28 to play.
Iowa finished the half with a 12-2 run to take a 35-20 lead into the locker room.
After the break, the Braves just couldn't close the gap and picked up their sixth loss of the season.
Iowa had three players in double figures led by Gabriel Olaseni who posted a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds.
The Braves return to action on Saturday in Athens, Ohio to take on the Bobacats of Ohio University. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET.
