Luckett Named SWAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Sophomore forward LeAntwan Luckett has been named SWAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for his performance over the weekend in Alabama.

Luckett averaged 23.5 points per game and 3.5 rebounds leading the Braves to a 1-1 record. He scored a career-high 31 points in Saturday's loss to Alabama State and a game-high 16 points in Monday night's comeback win over Alabama A&M.

He was selected to the Pre-Season All-SWAC 2nd Team and is leading the Braves in scoring averaging 16.2 points per game.
