Angelica Wilson-Reid each recorded a double-double in the Lady Braves 45-39 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff at the Whitney Complex.
The Lady Golden Lions jumped out to a 12-0 lead in the first five minutes of the game.Â
After a timeout, the Lady Braves regrouped and put together a 10-2 run to cut the lead to 14-10 at the 10:33 mark of the first half.
In the closing minutes of the first half, Strane made a layup to tie the game at 20-20 with .54 seconds to play.
On the pursuing possession, Charisse Carr nailed a three-pointer to put the Lady Golden Lions back ahead 23-20.
With .06 seconds left, Strane made a layup  to cut the lead to 23-22 just before the half.
The Lady Golden Lions kicked off the second half on a 6-1 run to push their lead to 29-23.
But the Lady Braves powered back with a 10-0 run to take the lead at 33-29 lead with 12:03 in the game.
The Lady Braves managed to hold on to a comfortable lead to pick up their fifth win of the season.
Wilson-Reid led all scorers with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Â Strane finished the game with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and recorded two steals.
The Lady Braves move to 5-10 overall and 4-2 in SWAC play. Â The Lady Braves travel to Montgomery, Ala to face the Lady Hornets of Alabama State on Saturday, January 24, 2015. Â Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 P.M. at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome.
