LeAntwan Luckett posted a game-high 25 points as the Braves fall short to Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 54-49 at the Whitney Complex.
The Braves jumped to an early 10-6 lead in the first half.
But the Golden Lions took a 12-11 lead on a jumper by DeAndre McIntyre.
The Golden Lions took their largest lead of the first half, 23-17 with 4:24 to go.
The Braves went on a 8-0 run to take the lead at the half 25-23.
The Braves and Golden Lions went back and forth in the second half with the Golden Lions finally breaking away with a slight 51-46 lead with .44 seconds to play.
Luckett hit a three-point basket to cut the lead to 51-49.Â

Michael Davis grabbed the offensive rebound and Devontae Hampton knocked down a three-pointer to tie the game but the shot was waived off.
Marquis Vance scored 11 points and collected 10 rebounds for the Braves tonight.
