HUNTSVILLE Ala. --Â Ladarius Tabb and Adrian Edwards each produced double-doubles Monday night as Alabama A&M topped Alcorn State 78-66 in Huntsville.
Tabb, the third leading scorer in the Conference, scored a career-high 33 points while Edwards added 13. Tabb also pulled down 12 rebounds and Edwards had 10.
Rakiya Battle, who averages 5.4 assists per game to lead the conference, dished out 12 on the night.
Marquis Vance led a trio of Braves in double figures with 17 points; LeAntwan Luckett scored 13 and Kenyan Pittman chipped in 10.
Luckett's put back off his own blocked layup with 12:34 to play pulled Alcorn State (4-16, 3-5) within 52-44, but the Bulldogs scored the next 10 points to push their lead to 18 about three minutes later.
The Braves used an 11-1 run to cut their deficit to 70-62 with three minutes remaining, but got no closer.
The Bulldogs shot 50 percent from the field and led at the half 42-35. The win also snapped a two-game losing streak.
