The Lady Braves had an opportunity to win three straight at the Whitney Complex before hitting the road this weekend but instead posted an 0-3 record which included tonight's 82-57 loss to Grambling State.
Grambling jumped out to an unbelievable 23-0 lead in the first nine and half minutes of the game.
Angelica Wilson-Reid finally got the Lady Braves on the board at the 11:22 mark of the first half but the game was already out of reach.
The closest the Lady Braves came within the Lady Tigers was 34-24 with 2:06 to play before the half.
Grambling outscored the Lady Braves in fast break points 18-4.
Wilson-Reid recorded a double-double scoring a season-high 18 points while snatching down 12 rebounds.
Jazmin Strane chipped in 14 points, eight rebounds and four steals.
The Lady Braves hit the road this Saturday to face in-state rival Mississippi Valley State. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
